SO 9001 certification is issued to a company that operates activities of quality guaranteeing systematically and efficiently by the International organization for standardization. In Korea, third party certificate authority examines status of establishment and/or operation of the environment-friendly managing system in accordance of requirements requested by the international organization for standardization, and awards certifications as a proxy. KCC E&C has first obtained this certification on May 14, 1996.
